I'm such a slacker that I always have LONG posts to make up for it....SORRY!
We were watching "Cake Boss" one night and Dusky, Justin, and Jon were saying "It can't be that hard to make a cake." So we decided to have a cake challenge. The boys were soooooo funny. They drew out their plans, went shopping, and spent 2 days making a HUGE cake. I have to say, I'm pretty impressed. It's their Backyard Scene. And they took so long that I didn't have time to make mine before we went out of town.
We went to Georgia so Dusky could get some of his flight stuff done. It was fun. We did a WHOLE LOT of swimming! The girls were in Heaven. They both swim with their floaties and no help. It took Sienna a second to get the hang of it but she finally learned that when she started floating on her back or stomach she needed to pull her legs under her and then she was the Champion.
Sienna was POOPED!
Time for Massages. Kaia asked my mom "Grandma, can you give me a sauge?" My mom started to rub her back and she said "NO, with the lotion" She knew she was getting jipped.
The Cameron's came up for a few days and we went to a Braves game. We had awesome seats. Thanks Dad! It was fun!
Did I ever mention that I think my daughter has OCD? Well, I'm pretty sure she does. She puts stickers on a paper and if they are not perfectly lined up and straight, she peels them off and starts over. She climed up on the pool table, pulled all of the balls out and lined them up in a perfect half circle. She also taked colored pencils and lines them up in a perfect pattern across the floor. And don't even think about moving one out of place or you will experience the wrath of Kaia!
Don't let little girls have lotion!
On our way home we stopped at Wal-Mart to get some food for the road. Dusky took Sienna and I took Kaia and we split up for a second. It started out as the cutest thing I've ever seen. We came around the corner of an aisle at the same time Dusky and Sienna came around the other corner. Kaia and Sienna started running towards each other with their arms wide open like they were going to hug. When they reached each other, Sienna wasn't aware that she needed to stop and she plowed into Kaia. Kaia fell back and hit her head (really hard) on the floor and bit her lip. It was so sad. Her lip was HUGE and she was bleeding everywhere.
It was a fun trip but we are very glad to be home. Since we've been home, Sienna has this new obsession with being NAKED! Yes, that's right. She loves the nude. I have to dress her like 34 times a day and it is getting REALLY old. We were walking through the middle of the mall the other day, and I didn't even know she was doing it and all of a sudden, I see a shirt fly out of the stroller and onto the floor. I'm thinking about duct taping her clothes on her. Any advice?
