The girls decided that they wanted to play softball this year. I though softball was pretty self explanatory, but apparently it's not. The first game of the season, Kaia got up, hit the ball and just stood there. Everybody was yelling for her to run to first base but she just stood there. Finally she caught on and started running and by some miracle made it to first base. Sienna got up right after her, hit the ball, and just stood there. Everybody started yelling for her to run to first base, so finally she took off running, but Kaia did not. So now, they are both on first base. The other team throws it to second and they get Kaia out because she's still standing on first base with Sienna. Sienna makes it to 3rd over the next few hits. They hit another ball and she just stands on 3rd. People are in her face yelling at this point. I'm behind the fence saying "Who's kids are those?"
Sienna takes off running to the practice square. Finally she makes it to home base, walks back to the dugout and starts BAWLING!
She comes out and sits by me and she is hysterical. She doesn't want to play softball anymore, and she's not going back out there. We had to have a little heart to heart. I gave her a full on adult pep talk. All the mothers were looking at me like I was crazy because I was saying things like "If you quit just because something gets hard you're never going to get ANYWHERE in life. You told this team that you would play for them, and you are going to play for them the WHOLE season. If you decide you don't want to play next season then you don't have to, but you're not quitting after the first game." It was a little intense considering my 5 year old was sitting there bawling, but i was soooo PROUD of her. She got back out there and played the rest of the game. She even ran all of the bases on her own. She was pretty proud of herself too because after the game she kept saying "I was scared but I didn't quit!"

He has been obsessed with baseball ever since they started playing. He walks around with the bat ALL day long. He's actually pretty good at hitting.
We went to the Coweta County Fair with the Allens. It was really fun. I haven't laughed that hard for a long time. We put Sienna on the ride with Tess thinking that she could take care of her. Tess SCREAMED the entire time. We would take pictures every time they came around because Tess was hysterical and Sienna was plugging her ears.
So the next ride we put her with Lexi so she could enjoy it….Lexi bawled the entire ride.

Kaia and Sienna got their school pictures back.
They are loving school this year. Kaia has Mrs. Keller. She is in the REACH (gifted) program. She's so smart, she amazes me. She's reading on a 3rd grade reading level. Within the first couple of weeks she had gone through all the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and half of 4th grades sight words.
Sienna loves Mrs. Walker and Mrs. Gabriel. She's doing well in school. Her gym teacher tells me how fast she is every time I see her. They have been doing the after school running club and they are SUPER competitive. They race each other the whole time to see who can get the most laps in.
I'm not sure why they even have their own beds. They end up like this every night.
Tanner has discovered how to climb into his toy box and throw out all of the toys. Then he yells at me until I come get him out.
I love that it's October and we are still out taking walks.
Some people think they are pretty exhausting.
Kyden and Eja are the best little buds. It's so cute. I'm really glad they have each other. They run back and forth between our houses and play all day long.
Their favorite game: Spin the babies.
Cousins sleepover. They love to pull out the hideaway bed and watch movies.
We went to Utah for the deer hunt. Everyone had a blast. The kids played outside all day long, finding forts, playing in the dirt and trees. It reminded me of when I was little and I used to do that with my siblings and cousins

We visited Tanner a lot while we were there. It's always so peaceful. We miss him like crazy. Especially around the deer hunt. I don't think it will ever be the same. Especially for Dusky.
Kaia was cracking me up on the plane ride home. She sat there with her legs crossed and read Junie B Jones.
When we got home, Eja had a costume parade at her school. I ordered Pebbles and Bam Bam costumes for her and Kyden off of Etsy. But the lady ran off with our money and never sent them to us. So looked through her dress up box and decided to be a witch. It think she's the cutest little witch ever.
On Halloween we went trick or treating at grandmas and then we came home and rode the trailer through our neighborhood. The kids had a blast.
