August 2013

August was an exciting month in the Goulding household.  All the girls started school.  Tanner doesn't know what to think about it.  I thought it would be fun for him having me all to himself, but he just mopes around and plays in their room until they get home.
Sienna went to Kindergarten, and she got Mrs. Walker and Mrs. Gabriel.  We were super excited about that.  She was so excited to go.
Kaia was so excited for Sienna to go to her "Big School" because she could hold her hand and walk her to class.  Although she was way more nervous going to class on the first day than Sienna was.
Kaia has Mrs. Keller.  She's really nice.  I walked her in on the first day of class and she said "Oh mom, Hunter is in my class.  I used to chase him at recess last year!"

The week after Kaia and Sienna started, Eja FINALLY got her turn at school.  She's only been waiting 2 years.  I've never seen anyone so excited to go to school.  I usually ask the girls what they did at school and they respond with "I can't remember"  But I asked Eja and she told me every single little detail.  Then I stopped to get gas and when I got back in the car, she apparently wanted to keep talking about it because she said "Soooooo, my teacher's were good!"  And then continued on with the details of her day.  She seriously cries every monday and friday when she doesn't get to go to school and the older girls do.
Luckily she has Kyden.  They are the best little friends.  It's really cute.  They run back and forth between our houses all day long and just play, play, play.
We drove by the church the other day and Eja said "Hey mom, is that the true church?" :)

July 2013

Little Tan Man eats watermelon like it's going out of style.  He's the stinking cutest little boy ever.  He is officially a walker.  We are all in trouble

The girls LOVE to dance and put on shows for everyone.
Tanner has discovered how to open his toy box and climb right in.  Then he screams until I come in to save him because he can't get out.
Eja LOVES her Dora backpack.  She brings it everywhere.  And as I try to pull out of the driveway she yells "Wait, wait wait, wait, wait!  Let me get my map.  I'll tell you where we are going"
This is what Kaia's bed looks like.  She sleeps with all of this stuff everynight and then in the morning she organizes it nice and neat on her bed.
The girls had a sleepover at Grandma's so Tanner and I got a night to ourselves.  He didn't last long but it sure was fun to hold my sleeping baby.
We went to Utah for Lake Powell and to see Dusky's family.  It was fun because Rennie and her kids were there so we got to see everyone.
We went to Zions, Grafton, and played in the river.  We always have a blast with all those Goulding cousins

We went up to the Gleave reunion at Pine Lake.  I've never seen anything like it.  There were sooo many people.  They all went and camped out.  They had lots of food and a talent show.  Eja spent the whole time playing in the dirt....yet again.  The girl likes to get dirty!
 Tanner cried...

And then played in the dirt....
Kaia picked the sap off of all the trees....
 Sienna jumped across the rocks...
As you can see, a good time was had by all!
Me and the hubs at Pine Lake

Then we went hiking up at Mossy Cave in Tropic

Our Lake Powell trip was a blast.  I was super excited this year because Sara and Lana and their families were coming.  It's been a while since we've all done a lake powell trip together.
The kids seriously got up at like 6:45 and went out to the beach.  We had to drag them in at night to go to bed.  They had so much fun playing.

The first night we were there Eja started crying.  She kept saying "I don't feel better!"  So I told her that she needed to wash her hair and then she would feel better.  I took her to the back of the boat and washed her hair.  Then she sat up and said "Do I feel better?"  I said "Yep"  and she stood up and yelled "I FEEL BETTER!"  with her hands in the air.  Haha I love that girl
Little miss attitude

I am so proud of Sienna for wakeboarding.  She did AWESOME!  She only did it behind the wave runner, but she did such a good job!  She's my brave little girl.

Tanner took his first couple steps at Lake Powell.  When we got home, he started walking some more. But he mostly just loves to crawl.  It gets him places faster.
We took Kaia on a special little date up to the red hill.  She loves spending time with just mom and dad.  We had icees from swig and looked at the temple.
