May at the Gouldings

It's been a while since I posted. We took a little Utah trip a few weeks ago and the girls had a blast. It was fun to see everyone. Eja got to meet all her aunts, uncles, and cousins. My only complaint was that it was soooo windy the entire time we were there.

Kaia and Sienna LOVE playing with Branson and Chase. They watched the girls while Dusky and I went to the movies. When we came back Sienna had Branson's cowboy hat on and she was riding the horsey in circles. Over and over again.

I know I've written about Kaia having OCD. She's so funny! I went in to her room and she had taken all of the yellow flowers and put them together, all the pink ones together, etc. So I asked her why she did that and she said "Oh...the baby flowers were sad because they couldn't find their mommy"

My kids have issues keeping their clothes on. Does anybody else have this problem or am I alone on this?
One of their favorite things to do is pick flowers in the front yard.
We went to Blue Ridge last weekend and stayed at my parents cabin. I love it up their. It's so pretty.
On our way up Kaia and I had a nice little conversation that went like this...
Kaia: This isn't the way to the airport (we were going to an ASA thing before we drove up)
Me: I know, we are going to pick up grandma so she can come with us to the airport
Kaia: OOOOHHHH, that's sooo nice!
Me: ya, it is.
Kaia: So, we are going to pick up grandma, take her to the airport to see the airplane, then drive to grandma's cabin in blue ridge?
Me: Yes
Kaia: We got ALOT of things to do today!!!
She makes me laugh a lot. She's such a grown up
We went to bed early that night and I woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of giggling. I think it was about 1:00 in the morning. I looked out and saw the light on downstairs. I had put a bench at the top of the stairs so the girls wouldn't fall down in the middle of the night. They had climbed under the bench, went down the stairs, turned the light on and they were dumping pot pouri in Dusky's shoes. They thought it was the funniest thing.

Sienna loves to hold "Da Baby Eja"

We were driving down the street and Kaia had a pop tart. She told me she didn't want it anymore so I told her to put it in the cup holder. She said "No, this is a rectangle and the cup holder is a circle. It's just not going to fit".....haha. she's funny
The girls laying out in the back yard.
The little Chunky Monkey....3 Months Old.
Eja is the sweetest baby. I'm so in love with her. She hangs out all day. All you have to do is look at her and she smiles. She still wants to eat every 2-3 hours during the day. But she goes to bed at about 9 and sleeps all night long.
I started potty training Sienna last week and she is a champion. She wears panties all day long and she never pees her pants. She yells "I gotta pee!" and runs over to her potty and goes. The only problem we are having is pooing her pants. She doesn't go in the potty. She goes in her panties or waits until I put a diaper on her (at nap or bed time)

Well, Naomi is a big GRADUATE of Whitewater High School.
Good Job Naomi!!!

Mother's Day Rules....

Happy Mothers Day to me!
My day started out with two little girls sleeping all the way through the night> I found the key. If I let them sleep together they are fine. If they are in their own beds, in their own rooms then Kaia is running into our room several times a night, and sienna is running into kaias room.
So, on top of the big girls sleeping all night, Eja has been sleeping 8 hours straight in the night.
HALLELUJAH!!!
My mom came and picked up Kaia and Sienna on Friday and took them to her house for a few hours so I could do whatever I wanted. It was so fun. Plus, she gave me the CUTEST chair for Mother's Day for my office. So I painted my wall to match.
The girls planted flowers for me. Kaia gave me a Mother's Day worksheet that she filled out for me. It was pretty funny.
Things About Your Mother:
What color are her eyes: blue (FYI:They are green)
What color is her hair: Black (FYI: It is blonde)
What is she good at cooking: Macaroni (You got that right)
How many brothers does she have: Lots (2)
How many Sisters: 9 (1)
What is your favorite thing about your mom: Because I want her to hold me
There was more, but I can't remember what.
Dusky gave me a new IPOD so I can start running again. I'm totally excited.
I love being a mother more than anything and I love my SWEET SWEET SWEET children.

Check ups

Eja is definately following in her sister Sienna's footsteps. She went for her 2 month check up today (she's actually almost 10 weeks) and she weighs a wopping 15 pounds. What a little Chunker. She's so cute. The doctor just started laughing and said "Wow! You must make cream!" I think I really do. She has gone from the 30% to the 99% in her weight. She's in the 60% in her height. I love her cute little face. She's such a sweetheart. She just hangs out all day. She smiles everytime you even look at her and she is starting to talk like crazy. She LOVES to eat (obviously). She still wants to eat at least every 3 hours. At night she usually goes about 6 hours. She still loves to be wrapped up like a little burrito. She gets tired and I wrap her up REALLY tight and she will go right to sleep.
I just want to kiss her face all day long!
I took Senny in for her 2 year check up a few weeks ago. She was 36 inches long and weighed a big 29 pounds 4 oz. She's healthier than healthy. She had to get a shot and was not very happy about it. But she is a champion when it comes to pain. She is talking like a superstar. Her little voice is sooo cute. She loves her sisters. She is very sensitive. She cries everytime "papa" leaves (Grandpa Holt) She loves him so much. She's a sweetheart and our little "Bull Dozer" She's REALLY strong. Her and Kaia were fighting over a stick and Kaia had both hands on it, pulling with all of her body weight. Sienna had a hold of it with on hand and all she had to do was give it a little pull and Kaia would go flying.
She's so dang cute! Love her!

BABY BLESSING

EJA'S BLESSING
We blessed Eja on April 25th. She looked so cute and she was a little angel. Didn't make a peep. Dusky gave her a beautiful blessing. Then he gave one of the best talks I've ever heard in Sacrament Meeting on Priesthood Blessings. He's a good guy. I sure do like him.

Sally came out a few days early and helped us put our garden in. The girls had so much fun planting everything. It's awesome. I'm so excited! I'll have to put an updated picture because it has already grown so much.

This is what happens when 1 little girl wants to be held....they all think they need to be held.
The other day Kaia kept coming in and saying "mom, come help me catch a butterfly." I kept telling her to hold on and I would be out in a minute. Finally she came in and yelled "mom, I caught one!" Sure enough, she had grabbed one by its wings. The poor little thing was squirming, trying to get free but she had its wings pinned between her fingers. I told her to set it free because it wanted to fly and she REALLY wanted to keep it. So I got a jar and we put it inside. As soon as I shut the lid Sienna started BAWLING. She kept saying "FREE! OUT! FLY!" She was very upset that we had trapped it. Then she got over it, and grabbed it herself but she's not a soft child. She smashed its wings so bad that it couldn't fly. I was pretty amazed that they caught it in the first place.
Kaia loves playing outside in her little house. She cleans, makes food, and even has her own restaraunt.

Louisiana Trip

We took a little trip down to good ol' Louisiana a few weeks ago. Dusky went to do some trainings at the school and the girls and I played and I did hair.
It was Calyn's Birthday so we went to her Barbie BBQ and Crawfish Boil. It was a hit! Jeni is awesome and made little Barbie bags for everyone. The girls were so excited. They got a crown, a cell phone, a neclace, sunglasses, and make up.
The girls were extremely tired from the flight...

Partying at the Mangums

Kaia and the Birthday Girl! Yes, she is holding a crawfish. She was totally obsessed with them and wouldn't stop touching them.
Finishing up the crawfish. Going for round 3...
Kaia put Calyn's new velvet princess gloves on and made herself a pile of crawfish.
It was fun to see everyone. Thanks for the great weekend Ya'll!!!

Brazil

Dusky finally used his flight benefits and went down to Brazil a few weekends ago. He went to get his visa and they gave it to him right there so he called me and said "I'm going to go to Brazil tonight" He took off by himself, headed to Manaus at 9:30 friday night. He met an old guy on the plane that didn't speak portuguese, he was by himself, and he didn't have any money-only a credit card. So Dusky and him hung out all weekend. It's a good thing he had Dusky because his card wouldn't work at the atm machine and he would have been stuck there all weekend with no money.
They stayed at a Bed and Breakfast. Saturday they went on a 6 hour boat tour. They went on a big boat for a while, then got in these little boats and road through the swamps and lilly pads. Sunday they went to the water falls and then flew home Sunday night-got home Monday morning.
He had a blast. He hasn't stopped talking about it. It was fun for him to go down and eat the food and get to speak portuguese
