We spent the last week in Utah. It was really fun. Dusky hunted like a crazy man...Imagine that. He had fun.
The girls partied the entire time we were there. Its so fun for them to have so many cousins out there to play with.
Rennie even came up for the weekend and it was so good to see her. Everyone was around. The girls played a volleyball tournament. It was fun to watch. We got to go to Peach Days. Dusky's Dad sang. It's always fun to sit around and listen to him sing.

Dusky had to do 10 night landings at a towered airport, so Rob and Sally took the girls and I went with Dusky down to North Las Vegas. It was so fun. It's been a long time since we flew together.
I'm always amazed at the church. Rob and Sally live right down the road from the church farm. The church used all the peaches they needed (they had over a million pounds) so they opened up the farm to anyone who wanted to come pick peaches. They had hundreds of thousands of pounds left. We were going to leave monday morning, but we decided to wait until Tuesday and go get some peaches. I dehydrated TONS, bottled 12 bottles of Peach Pie Filling, and 21 bottles of Peach Jelly.
Tan and the girls...

Dusky watched the girls while I went to lunch with my grandma, Tricia, and my mom. When I got back this is how I found them. They wore themselves out this trip.

Dustin and Helayna blessed Vander while we were there. I'm glad we got to go.

I also got to see Sara and cute little Ryder. Lana and Brandon came down so we had a little BBQ at Sara's house, then Lana and Brandon came over and hung out for a little while at my parents house. It was a family reunion. Lana, Paul, Stephanie, Ian, and Kristin were all in town and they came over. I love my family. They are fun!

This made me laugh. It's like the cool kid and the dork at prom.
Since we got back we've been working on our garden. We did our fall planting. I'm excited. Dusky's awesome. He does most of the work. He tilled the whole thing, made the rows, redid the fence, and then me and the girls planted. They had so much fun. We planted peas, green beans, tomatoes, onions, carrots, lettuce, squash, zucchini, and cucumbers.
I'm excited. I loved doing the garden this summer. I've been on a homemaking kick lately. My mom and I have been bottling peaches, potatoes, chicken and making jelly.
I also got my electric wheat grinder out for the first time today. Robbie showed me a REALLY good bread recipe while I was in Utah. I ground my own wheat and made bread out of it today. It was OH SO YUMMY!!!
I forgot to write in here about my new calling. I was released as the 14-15 year old Sunday School teacher (Dusky is on his own), and called to be the Beehive Advisor in Young Womens. I'm excited. It will be fun.
