Fun Weekend.....

The girls and I came home to Louisiana on Wednesday. Thursday night Carly came and babysat the girls. They were so excited. They love Carly. I went to Texas Roadhouse for a little Girl's Night Out. It seems like it's been so long since we have all done that. It was really fun.

Dusky was going to wait until next weekend to come home, but on friday he decided to come this weekend. I was so glad. I like it better when he's around.

I had to chop Sienna's hair this morning. I couldn't take it any longer. The piggy tail thing wasn't working out. She's still cute! It makes her look so much older though. It's kind of sad.

The girls went to Braylen Burch's Birthday Party on Saturday. They had sooooo much fun. They had it at slinkees and they had bounce houses, slides, etc. Sienna was HILARIOUS! That girl has NO fear. She was going down this huge slide with 12 and 13 year olds. It scared me to death but I could't climb my big pregnant body up there to get her down. She would go to the top, dive off and bounce all the way down. There were quite a few times that she got pounded at the bottom by BIG kids, but she just laughed and did it again. When things calmed down on the slide we finally got Kaia to go on it. It took her 10 minutes to climb to the top and Sienna passed her 3 times. Finally she slid down and she LOVED it, but only when there weren't any big kids near.

That night Kaia started crying and said "Can I PLEASE go back to the Birthday Party at the Mall?"

Last night my body was HURTING. I think it's because we've been going, going, going (plus the fact that I have a few extra pounds) So Dusky said "Nicole, come here" I went in to the bathroom and he had turned off all the lights, filled the tub and had candles all the way around it. He had peanut butter M&M's and Enya playing in the background and on top of that, he put the girls to bed while I had the most wonderful relaxing bath of my life. I LOVE HIM!

Today we went to church. Kaia is so cute in primary. She's WAY too little to be sitting there in Sunbeams. Everybody is at least twice her size. We had a pot luck after church and then we had to take Dusky back to the airport =( Off to Georgia he goes again. We will have to wait until next weekend to see him and then we will go back to Georgia with him.

Dear little Kaia....

Oh it's so sad. The girls left the room, they were only gone for about a minute and i noticed it was really quiet. So I said "Kaia, what are you doing?" "NOTHING!" she says. That's when I know that something is wrong. So I go into the living room to find this on the floor....

She totally CHOPPED Sienna. The only thing that keeps coming to my mind is JOE DIRT! She totally has a mullet and she looks ridiculous.

I don't even dare try and fix it. I would have to cut her hair soooo short, and there's no way to blend all those short CHOPS. I've been putting TONS of gel in her hair and pulling it in piggy tails. The only problem is there are some really short pieces that keep coming out and I have to redo the piggy tails like 12 times a day. AHHHHH!!!

Kaia is really into the "When I get big..." thing. She got in a lot of trouble and now she keeps asking me "Mom, when I get big, then can I cut someone's hair?"

She came in yesterday and said "Remember what dad told me? He said I can't have a baby until I get married!"..."When I get big I can cut peoples hair, say naughty words and have a baby after I get married!" (Not sure where the naughty words thing came from)

35 weeks and counting...

The girls are having a blast at Grandma's. Zach bundled them up yesterday and took them on a bike ride.

I am now 35 weeks pregnant and sooooo ready to be done.

I want to start all my conversations with...

"Yes, I know I'm huge. No, I will not pop. Yes, I always get this big. No, I'm not having twins. Thanks for asking!"

I had another ultrasound the other day and everything looks great. She is about 5 to 51/2 pounds. I'm afraid she's going to take after Sienna. I don't think I'm going to have another little Kaia (6 pounder)

January Update....

It's been a little while since I updated. I've been horrible at taking pictures lately so it's going to be a boring one...

Dusky was supposed to start his flight dispatch school on January 4th in Dallas and they called us a few days before and told us it was cancelled. Come to find out, they actually have a school in Peachtree City which is 10 minutes away from my parents house. So it worked out really well, now we don't have to pay for housing or anything. So we came up here a few weeks ago and Dusky's been going to school like a crazy man. He goes until 10:00pm every night.

I decided to have the baby up here, since Dusky won't be done with his class by the time she makes her arrival. I didn't want him to miss it. I went to a new doctor and when I say they are very thorough here in Georgia, that is an understatement. It's REALLY bugging the heck out of me. Today I had to drive 40 minutes to go see a specialist for my gestational diabetes (which I've already done in Louisiana) and pay a lot of money for her to tell me that I'm fine and my blood sugar levels are very good. Then on monday I have to go to New Patient Education classes even though I'm 34 weeks along and have 2 kids already. All the unnecessary appointments are getting on my nerves. Other than that, things are going great. They did an ultrasound today and the baby was sucking her thumb. She weighs between 5 & 5 1/2 pounds. And everything looks good. Can't wait to meet her.

Kaia and Sienna are having the time of their lives playing at grandma's everyday. They are in love with the dogs. It's funny. Sienna hears grandpa walking around at 5:30 in the morning (EVERY MORNING) ,quietly climbs out of bed and comes down to find him. He wraps her up in a blanket and she sits on the couch and watched cartoons and I don't even know she is up. She's always been an early riser, but 5:30 is a bit early for me.

That's about all that is going on in our life right now....I will take pictures soon and post them.

This is my conversation with Dusky the other night:

Dusky: I wonder what it would be like to be a gallon of water.
Nicole: Honestly, I don't know!
Dusky: Think about it...Some water is used for drinking, other water is used for cool things like watering trees and making them grow, then there is the water that used to flush your sh*@ down the toilet...It would suck to be that water!
