Our Utah Trip....

Dusky had a few days off so we flew out to Utah to say goodbye to Rob and Sally. :( Sad
They are leaving today (the 27th) to Western Samoa to serve a mission for 18 months. We will miss them but can't wait to go visit.
It's always a good time when we go to see them. They make us the best food and their house is always filled with Shiny, Happy People Having Fun!!!

See what I mean?

Eja was being super quite, and this is why...
We found her under the table with a chocolate chip cookie!

The girls LOVE going to Grandma and Grandpa Gouldings
Because they always get CHOCOLATE

The time change is hard though. It's a lot earlier in Utah, so when it's nap/bed time for my kids everyone else is still running around playing. Which makes my kids not want to go to sleep.
Then they pass out on the floor...

Kaia can write every letter in the alphabet and she can spell and read a lot of words too
The Red Hill
Kaia and Dusky went hiking on the red hill
Dusky did ALOT of flyingwhile we were there.
We took the girls flying and they loved it.
Dusky and I also got to go to the temple with Rob and Sally. It was so nice. It's been a while. It's hard when the temple is 3 1/2 hours away from you. I can't wait until the Atlanta Temple reopens.
Saying goodbye to Rob...
We sure are going to miss them, but we are proud of them. They will be GREAT missionaries!

December Update

I'm a little late in posting, but we had a great Thanksgiving. Everybody came to my house. Following our Thanksgiving Festivities we watched a movie on our brand new, homemade, backyard DRIVE IN THEATRE! Yes that's right. Dusky and Zach are two CRAZY boys. THey got this idea in their head that they wanted to make a huge movie screen in our backyard to watch on the projector. So they took the pole that are supposed to go on the top of the trampoline for the net (which of course we don't use cause they are only for babies!). They put all the poles together and cemented them into tires. Then they went and bought MUCHO fabric and guess who spend 2 full hours sewing them together...ME! It is seriously the biggest screen I've ever seen. It's totally WHITE TRASH and oh so fun!

Eja Baby....
I love this girl. Messy hair and all.
She had her 9 month appointment and she was 21 pounds. She's gone from the 99th percentile to the 91st percentile. Her height is in the 75th percentile. She just got her first two teeth about a week and a half ago. The poor girls was miserable for a few days but now she has her 2 bottom teeth. They are pretty cute. She pulls herself up and walks along EVERYTHING she sees. However, she is still doing the army crawl. I don't know what is up with her. She's not in to the knee crawling. I guess she figures she's fast enough without it. It's so cute to watch. She says "mama" "dada", she waves, and she falls down and hits her head a lot. She LOVES to watch her older sisters. She thinks they are so funny. She has finally been eating baby food really well and she is just starting to want everything we have. She eats crackers pretty well but she still LOVES her bottle. She's so sweet and cuddly and we love her so much!
A few days after Thanksgiving we got all our lights up and our decorations out. I absolutely LOVE Christmas Time. I LOVE the lights, the trees, the smells, the feeling, the goodies, and everything else Christmasy.
I'm kind of dissapointed because NOBODY in Georgia puts up Christmas lights. There are a few houses here and there that do one little string. Zach and I live next to each other and we are the only ones in the subdivision with lights up. Although we were raised in the Holt family to "go big or go home" when it comes to decorating for Christmas, we still tamed it now a bit this year due to laziness but we still look like the stinkin' Griswalds compared to everyone else. I LOVE IT!!!

The girls had fun helping Zach and Dusky put the lights up. It's been a while since they've been on a roof. That was their favorite thing to do in Louisiana.
Eja hanging out on the front lawn while we put up Christmas Lights...

It's SOOO pretty at night with the Christmas lights on and the fireplace going.

Dusky even put lights on the girls little house. It looks so cute at night.
In Other Great News....

KYDEN ZACHARY HOLT
was born on December 9th at 1:00am.
It was a long day but Tasha did a great job getting him here and he is so dang cute. I love him!
