YEE HAW FOR EMBARASSING MOMENTS...

Well we all know that I've had my fair share of embarrassing moments throughout the course of my 25 years. Today I've been remembering a few of the highlights....

Being 7 months pregnant with Kaia and driving around town with Andrea. My pants were so tight that I undid the drawstring. I had to run in the bank real fast and as I got out of the car and started running across the parking lot I noticed a guy looking at me kind of funny. It was then that I realized my pants were down around my ankles and I was standing in the middle of the bank parking lot in my underwear. That was awesome! I turned right back around, jumped in Andrea's car and ducked until the parking lot was emptied.

Then, when I was pregnant with Sienna I didn't learn my lesson. I wore the same pants and did the exact same thing in the gas station parking lot. (Those pants have since been retired!)

And since I'm doing a post on embarrassing pants moments, there was the time that we were driving to Georgia and I leaned over the front seat to put Kaia's binkie in her mouth. Right as a diesel passed us and the driver could see right into my window, Dusky yanked my pants down. Rock on Dusky! He wants everyone to see his wife's butt.

So I am happy to announce that as of today I have another moment to add....

I've been in Georgia for the weekend and today I flew home. As I was walking through the Alexandria airport I was laughing histerically. Which was kind of embarrassing in and of itself because I was alone (except for my daughters, but they don't count because I can't carry a conversation with them). I was just wondering what people were thinking as I passed by and they look at the back of my pants and saw poop stains all the way from my bum down to the back of my knee.

Don't worry, I didn't poop my pants- It was Sienna that pooped my pants. She pooped with such force that it came out of her shorts and covered my pants-front and back! I was so embarrassed because it looked exactly like I had pooped my pants. Everybody stared as I walked by because both of my girls were in clean clothes. Unfortunatly I didn't bring an extra pair for myself.

Happy Birthday You Sexy Thang!!!

Today is my husbands 26th birthday. Holy cow, I'm married to an old man. haha. But he can still rock out with the best of them. I love his cute little face and I'm glad that we have had the chance to grow to the old age of 26 together. (well i'm not quite there yet, but my time will come) And I can't wait to have many more of those joyful birthdays together. Unfortunatly i had my cake class tonight so we will be holding our celebrations at a later time, but thanks to Wilton I was able to make my husband a lovely birthday cake. I will post pictures later.
We did take the girls to the movie Kung Fu Panda today. It was really funny. Sienna was awesome-she slept pretty much the whole time. Kaia did pretty good. But she didn't sit down for longer than about 3.5 seconds. She was back and forth in the aisle, sticking her face down in between the seats in front of us and invading peoples personal space. Justin, Jon and Layla went with us. Then I took the girls home and Justin and Dusky had a Movie Madness Monday. They went to 3 movies in a row. So they were at the movie theatres all day long.

GLORY, GLORY, HALLELUJAH

I was reading through all of my old posts and remembering the first little while of Sienna's life. It was filled with a whole lot of feeding and a whole lot of not sleeping. Well I'm happy to report that those days are long gone. Kaia is finally sleeping in her bed and Sienna only wakes up 1 time to eat usually and she goes right back to sleep when she's done. And last night we went to bed pretty early and I woke up at 6:00am and thought that the clock was wrong. Lo and behold, Sienna had been sleeping for like 10 1/2 hours and Kaia was still in her own bed. What a fabulous night.

LOVELY LADY!!!

SERIOUSLY- This is what my little GIRL looked like at the end of the day.
When her dad tried to give her a bath she hid in the dryer
So the next morning I was excited because I was only going to have to give one bath. I filled the tub and went to get Sienna and this is what I found when I got back.
(Pee filled diaper and all)

Oh what a week...

We had a wonderful week. We went to the park on Wednesday for our weekly play date. Once again, Kaia didn't want anything to do with any of the kids. Or the toys. She just wanted to play in the mud. She finally decided to go play on the slide about 2 seconds before we had to leave. Just long enough to start loving it, then she threw a major fit when I took her off. She's been throwing a lot of fits lately. I think we are seeing the beginning of THE TERRIBLE TWO'S
Rob and Sally came out on Thursday. Kaia was so excited that they were coming. We were over at the school and she wouldn't leave because she wanted to play with Linda and Jeanette (her Louisiana Grandma's) Finally I told her "We have to leave so we can pick up grandma and grandpa" She came running across the room, grabbed my hand and started pulling me out the door.

We went to dinner that night and just hung out at the house. On friday we went down to Avery Island. It was so beautiful. It is an island about an hour and a half south of us. We got there a little late so we couldn't tour the tabasco factory but we went to the Garden. It's about 4 miles of natural landscaping. They have tonz of birds, alligators, turtles, plants, etc.

Then Saturday my mom, dad and Naomi came down. We went to dinner at Tunks. It's a resteraunt on the lake. It's really pretty.

Look at Sienna's legs. I think they are bigger than Kaia's. She's such a little Chunk!
On Sunday was my little Senny's blessing day. She looked so cute. She was so good too. Dusky gave her a beautiful blessing. I'm grateful for my sweet little baby and my sweet little husband. I'm so glad he holds the priesthood and can give our children blessings.

This one is for you Dusky....

Dear Dusky,
I hope you are having fun in Utah-spending time with family, hiking at Pine Valley, and going to the movies. This is what your family has been doing in Louisiana while you've been gone.

The day started out like this......
Kaia went to TIME OUT 3 times before I even had breakfast made.
Then I spent the morning

ERASING pencil from the walls

TRYING to scrub pen off the couches and Sienna's clothes (Yes she was wearing them at the time of the incident)And by the way, how do I get paint out of hair????Can you come home now?

P.S. I just realized that all of my post are about Kaia destroying something. And although she does this quite regularly, she's such a good girl. She is now sleeping in her toddler bed. It only took one night of telling her 3 times to go back to bed and ever since then all I have to do is say "Night Night". She runs in, jumps on her bed, folds her arms and bows her head and waits for me to come in and say prayers with her. It's so cute.

Last night I woke up at about 3:00 in the morning. I could hear breathing behind me and it really freaked me out. I turned the lamp on and Kaia was laying on my floor asleep. She must have come in very quietly because I'm a light sleeper and I always hear her. She just layed down on the floor next to our bed (which she can climb up on easily) and went back to sleep. She's so cute!

MOVIE NIGHT

I was feeling sad the other day. Dusky and I used to go to the movies all of the time, but then we had kids. They aren't very fun to take to the movies. We've seriously been to like 2 or 3 movies in the last year and a half. So Dusky bought 4 king size bed sheets. Ironed them together and made a movie theatre in the gym with the school projector. We took the love sack over there and watched "We Are Marshall". IT WAS AWESOME! I felt like we were in a movie theatre. Kaia ran around the gym the whole time and was very entertained. Sienna slept. And Dusky and I had a date at the movies.

Although these are the only ones I have pictures of there are many things that I enjoy seeing.

Flowers, people, the sky, clouds, stars, and the list goes on and on.

I'm grateful for the use of contacts because without them none of this would be possible. Thank You Acuvue!!!!
