UPDATE on Destruction

We've been busy here at the Goulding house. Two weekends ago we flew up to Georgia for a few days. We just had our carry ons and as we were walking out of security in the Atlanta airport I realized that one of our bags was missing. I had left it in the middle of the hallway and got onto the train without it. My dad went back through security and checked every where. That was 2 weeks ago and we still haven't found it. Which really stinks because we had lots of stuff in there that we wanted.

Then last weekend my mom and I took a quick little girls trip to Utah to do some juice plus presentations. I left the girls with Dusky on Thursday and I came home on Saturday. The girls had a blast and I don't think they even knew I was gone. They had Oatmeal and Macaroni & Cheese the whole time. Zach and Tasha also came down to watch the girls while Dusky was in school. I have the greatest family ever. Thanks guys.

I was so excited to come home and see my family. So this is how my Sunday went......

Put Kaia & Sienna down for a nap.
Dusky & I think they are sleeping so we go have a nap.
Wake up to someone screaming.
Walk in the girls room.

It is TOTALLY DESTROYED. Kaia had pulled out every drawer she has and they were spread across the floor. ALL of her toys were spread across the floor, I couldn't even get to Sienna's crib to get her out without clearing a pathway. Unfortunatly I couldn't find my camera, and I couldn't wait. I made Kaia clean it immediately because I was getting so claustrophobic.

So we go in and put a movie on and I lay down on the couch while the girls are playing on the floor. A few minutes later I realize that I must have fallen asleep and it is really quiet. The girls are no longer in the living room. Right then Kaia comes around the corner with THAT look on her face. I said "What have you been doing?" and she said "Playing with Scissors!!!" I immediately thought 'Oh crap, she probably cut up a piece of paper to a million little pieces and it's spread across my house.'

But it was worse than that. I walked into the kitchen and there was hair all over the floor. That's when she said "I cut Senny's hair!" Like she was all proud of herself. So I look at my poor sweet baby and she's got about 4 chunks out of the top of her head that are cut right at the scalp. SCARY!!! I'm glad she didn't cut her head open.

But don't worry because she moved the chair over, climbed up on the counter, opened up the drawer and put the scissors back when she was done.
It's a good thing Sienna is a Goulding and has really thick hair. I can do a little comb over and you can't even tell.

Potty Time

Kaia came in the other day, pulled down her pants, sat on the toilet and said "I gotta take a dump!"

Where do you think she learned that from? I'll give you a hint: It's not from me.

What Cute Decorations........

I came in and found these new decorations that Dusky got for the living room..... Do you like?

TGIF

We helped the Cameron's move yesterday.....

There was a lot of this going on....

A lot of this.......

A lot of Annica singing to us........

A lot of babies sleeping......
And a very little bit of this......

It took us all day to do what should have taken not all day. But it was fun anyways. It really made me not want to move anytime soon. Although, if we were going to Utah- I would take it.

Our wonderful holidays....

I realize that most of my posts make me sound like the worst mother ever. They are all about destruction, wild kids, and babies eating things that are not exactly good for them. But we have normal calm moments too, I promise!!!
I'm just now getting around to posting about our holidays. We had such a fun time.
We had Christmas Eve at the Baldwin's house. We ate Gumbo and played the White ELephant Game. Then we went over to the Greens for a little while. Kaia sure enjoyed Trisha's cookies!
Dusky had to drive the school van to Utah, and since I didn't want to drive for 22 hours with two kids I decided I would fly and meet him. Tanner said he would go with me so I didn't have to wrestle with two kids for 4 hours on a plane by myself. But I had to go up to Georgia on Christmas day and the only flight was at 11:30am. We didn't get home until really late on Christmas Eve and the girls were totally exhausted. So of course, they picked Christmas Day as their one day in the entire year that they would sleep in.
It was killing me. I love Christmas morning just as much as I did when I was a kid. I have got Dusky up at the crack of dawn every year since we have been married. He thinks I'm crazy but he's a good sport and he goes along with it. I decided that since I was flying to Atlanta with the girls by myself I would let them sleep a little longer. Kaia finally woke up and about 8:30 and we let her open her presents. She talked a lot about Santa Clause but I don't think she really understood what was going on. Except that she kept telling us we have Christmas because of "Baby Jesus"
Finally, we had to wake Sienna up at like 9:00. We opened all of her presents.
Kaia loved her "Lagy Bug" rain coat, boots, and umberella but she was mostly interested in all of Sienna's toys. And Sienna was mostly interested in the wrapping paper and the boxes.
So we flew up to Georgia and spent the rest of the day there while Dusky started his long trek to Utah. It was fun to see my family. Everyone was there except Dusky.
The next day we flew to Utah. We got to spend a week there and it was a blast. None of us were ready to come home. Especially Dusky! We got to see the whole family because Rennie and her kids drove up. I haven't seen them for a really long time so we had a blast. We took the kids and went hiking at Red Cliffs. The girls LOVED it! Kaia would live outside if she could. She's like her dad. And I forgot how nice it was to have babysitters. Dusky and I got to go to the temple, he took me to Cafe Rio, we went to dinner and a movie with all of his family-and this whole time Kaia and Sienna got to play with Tricia, Darren, Chase and Branson. They always have fun over there and they cry when it's time to leave.
Kaia had so much fun with Grandma and Grandpa Goulding. She wanted to swing all day long. Rob took her out to swing with her a lot. It was really cute!

Kaia playing with Branson. What a cute little cowgirl.

We are finally home now and I just got my house put back together and all of the Christmas Decorations put away.

But of course, while I was cleaning Kaia and Sienna got into the pantry and got into the brown sugar. Sienna had a huge chunk that was the size of a softball and she was chowing down on it before I found them.

They are so cute. They are starting to really play together now. Of course, they fight like sisters too. Kaia is little miss bossy. She tells Sienna what to do and when to do it. Today she said "Sienna, go to time out!" Dusky and I were laughing so hard last night because Kaia was standing above Sienna and she started pushing down on her head. So Sienna grabbed Kaia's arm and jerked her down to the ground in one little pull. Kaia face planted it into the ground and Dusky busted up laughing. He told Kaia "I wouldn't pick on your sister.....she's bigger than you are!" I am amazed at how strong Sienna is. My dad always says that she could be a linebacker right now if she wanted to.

Sienna will probably be walking soon. She walks around as long as she's holding on to something. She chatters all day long.

Kaia is a little dramatic right now. She thinks she just HAS TO have/do everything. When I tell her that we are not having oatmeal for dinner because I already made lasagna she says "But I HAVE TO eat oatmeal." Like she is going to die if she doesn't. And when I put her diaper on at night time she says " No Diaper! I HAVE TO pee pee big potty." And when I tell her she can't watch TV she says "I HAVE TO watch it, Bug's Life!"......You get the point. It's really funny.

I love my kids and my husband. They are the biggest thrill of my life. I'm so grateful that we have such wonderful families and that we got to see them ALL over the holidays. It was so much fun. So thanks to all Yall that entertained us!!!!

Senny's Candy...

I had to change the background for this story.........

The other day I was making breakfast and Kaia kept saying "Mamma, Senny Bug!" I have to admit, I was ignoring her. Not on purpose, but sometimes you just unintentionally tune your kids out. So a few minutes later Sienna came crawling around the corner and there was a dead frog sticking out of her mouth. She was just sucking on it like it was a sucker. It was seriously the most disgusting thing I've ever seen in my life. I started screaming my head off and Dusky came running in as fast as he could. He thought one of the kids was dying or something. He pulled it out of her mouth and it was HUGE!!!! GROSS!!!!

Please, somebody come put a ceiling up in my bathroom. I haven't had one since the hurricane and if I find one more dead animal in my house I'm going to FREAK OUT!
