Utah Trip-April 2014

When did he turn into such a little boy?  It kills me

Hiking on the red hill.

Little Mother Senny

Eja doing what she does best…getting dirty

The park in Washington Fields.  THe kids could have stayed here all day

We were at the Toquerville park playing and Sienna came running up to us and yelling hysterically.  She said she had a bug in her ear.We layed her on my lap on the bench and we couldn't see anything.  So Dusky poured a couple drops of water in her ear and a HUGE leg came out.  At that point I started panicking (inwardly of course)  We still couldn't see anything so we decided to take her to instacare.  I was so proud of her the whole drive there.  I shined a flashlight in her ear and she was deep breathing to keep herself calm.  I think the light helped because it made the bug stop moving.  But every time it would start moving she would panic.

We made it to instacare and they took us in the back to see the doctor.  He looked in her ear and said "ummmmm, I'll be back in a minute" and then he left to get his tools.  After he left she started screaming and yelling "It's moving!"  A couple seconds later, a HUGE spider came crawling out of her ear.  It was the most disgusting thing i've ever seen.

We took her for ice cream after that ordeal...

We went to Zion with Rob and Sally.  It is beautiful up there.

Kaia really wanted to go to Tanner's grave when we got back, so Dusky, Kaia, and I went down for a little while.  I sure miss that kid.

April 2014

I love it when the weather turns nice.
We have been having a lot of picnics in the backyard these days.

They finally started clearing out our lot.  It's exciting to see progress...

They had a little Easter party in Kaia's class.  She's so cute.  They danced around to "Happy" and got easter eggs to put in their basket.  She gets so excited when I come in and help in her class.

Then we headed down to Sienna's class for her Easter Party...

I'm in love with this little man.  He just wants to be one of the big kids and it's so cute.
He has the greatest hair.  This is how he looks when he wakes up from a really good nap.

Everytime the girls put their goggles on he wants his on too.

The girls are swimming sooooo good this summer.  It's amazing how far they have come since last summer.

Braves Game

I love watching the kids play with the chickens.  It makes me laugh every time.  They just pick them up and haul them around the back yard like pets.

Sienna's 6th Birthday

How is it possible that this sweet little girl is 6?

I always say that everyone needs a Sienna.  I love her so much.  She is the most helpful little mini mother out there.  She is always taking care of everyone around her.  She is Tanner's 2nd mom.
She carries him around.  When he cries in the morning she is in his room getting him out of his crib before I can even get to the living room.  She dresses him, gets him milk, puts his shoes on, and just about everything else that a mother would do.

She's really into "Frozen" this year.  She wanted a "Frozen" birthday party.  We decided to have a little party and then watch the movie on the backyard big screen after it got dark.  It was super fun.  She loved it.

March 2014

The weather has been so nice.  I love that my kids can play outside all day long.

Mom and Dad have started getting their pool ready.  Easter is early this year and the pool has to be ready for our annual Easter swim party.  Sienna loves being Grandpa's helper.

Little Tan Man is getting too big.  He's so fun.  He loves being silly and making us laugh.

We are FINALLY seeing progress on the house.  They have started clearing out the lot and the driveway.  It's fun to see.  We had them push the driveway back quite a ways so we are off the road and I think we are going to LOVE it.

Dusky had to be in Orlando for the week doing recruiting.  He threw his back out.  He's been having back issues, but this was a ROUGH trip for him.  He couldn't hardly move.
On Thursday the kids and I loaded up the car and drove down for a little vacay.  They did so good on the drive.  Even Tanner

We love the timeshare in Orlando.  They have the best pools and waterpark.

All boy!

Steph and the kids came down friday night because Karl was down there with Dusky doing interview.

On Saturday we went to Lego Land.  The kids had fun, but we decided that the kids have just as much fun swimming at the resort.  Plus, it's free and we don't have to wait in lines.

On our way home we stopped by Downtown Disney and went to the T-REX restaurant.  The kids were amazed.  It was really fun.  Tanner LOVED the fish.
