July 2013

Little Tan Man eats watermelon like it's going out of style.  He's the stinking cutest little boy ever.  He is officially a walker.  We are all in trouble

The girls LOVE to dance and put on shows for everyone.
Tanner has discovered how to open his toy box and climb right in.  Then he screams until I come in to save him because he can't get out.
Eja LOVES her Dora backpack.  She brings it everywhere.  And as I try to pull out of the driveway she yells "Wait, wait wait, wait, wait!  Let me get my map.  I'll tell you where we are going"
This is what Kaia's bed looks like.  She sleeps with all of this stuff everynight and then in the morning she organizes it nice and neat on her bed.
The girls had a sleepover at Grandma's so Tanner and I got a night to ourselves.  He didn't last long but it sure was fun to hold my sleeping baby.
We went to Utah for Lake Powell and to see Dusky's family.  It was fun because Rennie and her kids were there so we got to see everyone.
We went to Zions, Grafton, and played in the river.  We always have a blast with all those Goulding cousins

We went up to the Gleave reunion at Pine Lake.  I've never seen anything like it.  There were sooo many people.  They all went and camped out.  They had lots of food and a talent show.  Eja spent the whole time playing in the dirt....yet again.  The girl likes to get dirty!
 Tanner cried...

And then played in the dirt....
Kaia picked the sap off of all the trees....
 Sienna jumped across the rocks...
As you can see, a good time was had by all!
Me and the hubs at Pine Lake

Then we went hiking up at Mossy Cave in Tropic

Our Lake Powell trip was a blast.  I was super excited this year because Sara and Lana and their families were coming.  It's been a while since we've all done a lake powell trip together.
The kids seriously got up at like 6:45 and went out to the beach.  We had to drag them in at night to go to bed.  They had so much fun playing.

The first night we were there Eja started crying.  She kept saying "I don't feel better!"  So I told her that she needed to wash her hair and then she would feel better.  I took her to the back of the boat and washed her hair.  Then she sat up and said "Do I feel better?"  I said "Yep"  and she stood up and yelled "I FEEL BETTER!"  with her hands in the air.  Haha I love that girl
Little miss attitude

I am so proud of Sienna for wakeboarding.  She did AWESOME!  She only did it behind the wave runner, but she did such a good job!  She's my brave little girl.

Tanner took his first couple steps at Lake Powell.  When we got home, he started walking some more. But he mostly just loves to crawl.  It gets him places faster.
We took Kaia on a special little date up to the red hill.  She loves spending time with just mom and dad.  We had icees from swig and looked at the temple.

Kids Pictures-June 2013

After church the girls wanted to put my "chapstick" on and take pictures for Dusky.
My kids are cute!  That's all

Kaia-6 Years Old

Eja-3 Years Old

June 2013

We spent most of June in Georgia.  It seems like we were busy the whole month.

The kids played and played.  Eja and Kyden are getting along so well now.  It's the cutest thing to watch.  They look like little twins everywhere they go.  They walk around holding hands.  They are the same size, same hair color.  I'm so glad they have each other.

Little Mr. Tanner LOVES to eat.  He's a pretty laid back baby, until he gets hungry (which is quite often)  Then he SCREAMS at me.  He will sit down and shove food in his mouth like he hasn't eaten for a month.  What a cutie pie.

Sienna takes care of that baby boy.  She loves him so much.

And Eja...
She's just Eja.  Never a dull moment with that one.
I came in and found her asleep like this on the couch.  I'm not sure that's the position I would have chosen, but whatever floats your boat.

I repainted the girls room, and when I left for 3.5 seconds to go to the bathroom I heard an "Uh-Oh"  That's never a good sign.
This is how I found her.  Pulling this face and all...

Eja also has an obsession with helmets and swimming suits.  She won't take them off EVER.  She wears them in the car, at the table, in the store.  It's embarassing but what do you do?  Pick your battles!
We went to Monkey Joes with the Blankenships.  The girls had a blast.  As always.
We were lucky enough to have Michael & Lourdes come through on their way from Florida to Utah.  I wish they would have been able to stay longer, but it sure was fun to see them.  The girls LOVED playing with them.
Our chickens are officially egg layers.  The girls were so excited when we got the first egg.  All their hard work has paid off.

We went camping with Mom and Dad in the motorhome.  We went up to Amicalola Falls.  It's gorgeous up there.  It was a lot of fun.  While we were sitting around the campfire Kaia lost her first tooth.  YAY!  It was only loose for 2 months.  My mom said "Let me see that Kaia" and popped the thing out.  It was AWESOME!

The girls sure have played outside in the sprinklers a lot this summer.  I came out and found them hiding from the sprinkler under the umberella.  Seems like a waste of water to me, but it sure was keeping them happy. :)
We took the girls to a couple of Braves Games.  The two older ones are so fun to take.  We went with Tiffany and Cody, and the girls had a blast playing with Isaac.
 Go Braves!
 SWIM, SWIM, SWIM!
She put her own swimming suit on this day.
It may or may not be on backwards....

We went with Dori and her kids down to Gregg Farms and picked peaches, blackberries, and blueberries.  The kids had almost all of the berries eaten by the time we got home.  But we made a lot of jelly, dried peaches, and bottled peaches.
Their peach ice cream is the best!

Eja told me that when she grows up she wants to be a caterpillar trainer.
She dreams big.
The girls LOVE to have sleepovers at Grandma Holts house.

We went to the movie at the Avenue.  They had the bounce house, face painting, kids games, and I wont the grand prize basket.  It was awesome!

The girls wanted butterflies on their faces.

Little Tan Man is obsessed with watermelon.  OBSESSED!  He would eat the whole watermelon if I would let him.  But I usually make him share with his sisters.
