I noticed how big of a show off Kaia was this trip. She loves to perform for people and be the center of attention. She started doing this thing where she would roll across the ball and do this fake laugh then start pounding her fist on the ground. It was seriously hilarious. I have no idea where she got it from, but the more we laughed, the more she would do it.
The day we got home we went to my moms and Joe and Amanda brought the boys over to swim with Kaia & SiennaA few short stories that I want to remember....
A month ago when my mom took Kaia and Sienna and flew to Utah there was a lady sitting across the aisle who had her hands inside her shirt. Sienna kept pointing at her and asking "what IS that?" She kept getting louder and louder so finally my mom said "You have to be quiet or that lady is going to wake up and BITE you!" That got her to be quiet. At the end of the flight the lady got up and kept getting closer to Sienna and saying "you are such a pretty little girl...what's your name...how old are you?" Sienna kept scooting back further and further and then turned to my mom and yelled really loud "That the lady what bite me!!!"
It had been a long day and on the way home from Vegas my mom pulled her hair up in a pony tail and and went "AAARRRGGGHH" Kaia said "Grandma, what's wrong?" and my mom told her she was at the end of her rope. so Kaia said "It's okay Grandma, sometimes my hair drives me crazy too!"
On this flight to Utah Tasha flew with me and the girls. On the way to the airport Kaia had a one dollar bill. She's obsessed with her one dollar bill. She carries it with her everywhere and sleeps with it at night. So she asked Tasha who the guy was on the front and Tasha told her it was George Washington. So we were sitting on the airplane and Kaia turns to the lady next to us and says "Would you like to see my George Washington?" as she pulls her dollar out of her pocket.
I haven't taken Eja to her 4 month appointment yet, even though she's almost 5 months old, because they didn't have anything until the first of August. But I weighed her the other day and she is 18 pounds. She's so stinkin cute. She rolls over like a crazy lady. She has rolled over from her stomach to her back before, but she usually just rolls from her back to her stomach and then cries because she gets stuck. She laughs at everything, she smiles everytime you look at her. She's such a good baby. I love her.
