July Tid Bits...

It's been a little while since I updated. I'll start with the 4th of July...
We spent most of the day swimming at my moms. It was such a nice day. We went to dinner at Olive Garden, then Dusky gave us the best fireworks show of our lives right in our own back yard. The girls LOVED it.

My little chunky monkey

Last week we went to Lake Powell.
Kaia played on the beach the whole time. She had so much fun.
Sienna had fun too but she was sick for most of the time...poor girl!
She's the Queen of SandCastle Villages
The girls loved to fish. Sienna kept grabbing the fish and squeezing. Suprise Suprise!

My dad and Kaia made this lovely Princess Castle

I noticed how big of a show off Kaia was this trip. She loves to perform for people and be the center of attention. She started doing this thing where she would roll across the ball and do this fake laugh then start pounding her fist on the ground. It was seriously hilarious. I have no idea where she got it from, but the more we laughed, the more she would do it.

The day we got home we went to my moms and Joe and Amanda brought the boys over to swim with Kaia & Sienna

More Adventures of Kaia, Sienna & Isaac....
Just catching turtles

This is what my kids do while I make dinner. They pull every single utinsil out and suck on them.
Well, Kaia just lines hers up. Did I ever mention she has OCD?!?!

A few short stories that I want to remember....

A month ago when my mom took Kaia and Sienna and flew to Utah there was a lady sitting across the aisle who had her hands inside her shirt. Sienna kept pointing at her and asking "what IS that?" She kept getting louder and louder so finally my mom said "You have to be quiet or that lady is going to wake up and BITE you!" That got her to be quiet. At the end of the flight the lady got up and kept getting closer to Sienna and saying "you are such a pretty little girl...what's your name...how old are you?" Sienna kept scooting back further and further and then turned to my mom and yelled really loud "That the lady what bite me!!!"

It had been a long day and on the way home from Vegas my mom pulled her hair up in a pony tail and and went "AAARRRGGGHH" Kaia said "Grandma, what's wrong?" and my mom told her she was at the end of her rope. so Kaia said "It's okay Grandma, sometimes my hair drives me crazy too!"

On this flight to Utah Tasha flew with me and the girls. On the way to the airport Kaia had a one dollar bill. She's obsessed with her one dollar bill. She carries it with her everywhere and sleeps with it at night. So she asked Tasha who the guy was on the front and Tasha told her it was George Washington. So we were sitting on the airplane and Kaia turns to the lady next to us and says "Would you like to see my George Washington?" as she pulls her dollar out of her pocket.

I haven't taken Eja to her 4 month appointment yet, even though she's almost 5 months old, because they didn't have anything until the first of August. But I weighed her the other day and she is 18 pounds. She's so stinkin cute. She rolls over like a crazy lady. She has rolled over from her stomach to her back before, but she usually just rolls from her back to her stomach and then cries because she gets stuck. She laughs at everything, she smiles everytime you look at her. She's such a good baby. I love her.

June Happenings...

We went to Blue Ridge a few weeks ago. We stayed at the cabin and went to the Drive In Movie (Toy Story 3), The park, Shopping on Main Street, and to the Lake. It was so fun. I hadn't wake boarded for a LONG time. It was really fun. The girls has so much fun swimming in the lake. We couldn't get them out.

We went to Utah for Lana's Wedding. It was WONDERFUL! My mom and Naomi took Kaia and Sienna and went on Wednesday. I had a sewing lesson on Wednesday so Eja and I went Thursday. It was quite the process getting there, but I finally made it just in time for Lana's Bridal Shower. It was so fun to see everyone.
Friday night we kept the tradition going and went to the temple and had ice cream. (and Pineapple for Lana)
Lana and Brandon's wedding was soooo good. I'm so happy for them. They are the cutest couple.
We got to the temple and Lana was sitting out on the bench. She and Brandon had forgotten their temple recommends and the marriage license. Classic Lana. I love that girl.

I love my friends. It's so fun when we get together.

The girls playing at the reception

When we got home the girls went to a birthday party for the little girl that lives next door to my parents. They went to Jump 2 It and had a BLAST!
