I already wrote about my experience Monday night. It was a frusterating week. I would have contraction and think I was going to have a baby and then they would quit. So my mom was giving me a massage on friday and I got a call from the doctor. She said "Are you ready to have a baby?" and I said "YES!" She said "Labor and Delivery is pretty open right now, come on in and we'll induce you."
I'm not going to lie, it kind of freaked me out because I wasn't expecting it, but I was totally excited too. I called Dusky and he headed home, picked me up, and we went to the hospital. By the time I got there they had gotten busy (3 emergency C-sections had come in within the hour) so I had to wait at the hospital for about 2 hours or so before they even got me in my room. But that was good, because I started having regular contractions and got things started on my own. At about 3:30pm they got me in my room and hooked me up to an IV. They started my pitocin, which increased the contractions and within about a half an hour she came in and broke my water. They checked me shortly after that and I was dialated between a 5 and a 6. I got an epidural about an hour later. Just in time for the contractions to get really intense. It was perfect. I kind of feel like I cheated because I never got the point that I did with the other girls, where I was going to kill someone if I didn't get an epidural. Plus, the guy that gave me the epidural was good. I could move my legs and feel everything, it just didn't hurt.
Everything was perfect and easy with this delivery. I told the nurse that I was feeling pressure so she checked me and said "you're complete, we will wait for the doctor and then you can start pushing. The doctor walked in right after that and I started pushing. I was expecting it to be a long, hard process like it was with the other girls, but I pushed 3 times and out she came. We had to stop for a minute because the cord was wrapped around her neck, but the doctor untangled her, and she came out pretty easily. She reminded me of Kaia from the second she came out. Her looks keep changing but she still looks like Kaia to me. She has soooo much hair. We have only heard her cry once and it was more of a little wimper. She's been a little angel.
The other girls have been having a hard time without mom and dad there all the time, but they are so excited about their little baby.

We are STILL at the hospital and totally ready to go home. Eja had a fever for about 3 seconds right after she was born so she has to stay for a full 48 hours until we get her cultures back. They didn't send her cultures in until 1:00am so we have to stay until tomorrow morning and then we are home free.
Thanks to everyone for their prayers. We love this little girl so much and we are so grateful to our Heavenly Father for giving her to us. She's such a sweetheart.
