Kaia is THREE!!!!

Holy Crap my daughter is THREE! How did that happen? The night before her birthday I was in total shock. I kept saying to Dusky "Three years ago at this time, I was in labor..." It had just been me and Dusky and now we have one daughter sleeping in the middle of us, one that will probably be running in here in the next few minutes and climbing in bed with us, and one that is kicking me in the stomach. I don't even remember what life was like without them.

Kaia had the best day ever! She was excited ALL day long. She didn't have to have a nap (because it was her birthday-but mostly because she was too excited to sleep and she laid in her bed singing and talking to herself for about 30 minutes before I finally told her she could come out of her room)

We spend the morning hunting a dead mouse that I knew was in the dryer. DISGUSTING! I could smell it, it stunk so bad. So Dusky took the dryer outside and took it apart and found a nasty dead mouse. I love you Dusky. Since then we have found 3 other dead mouse. I'm about to FREAK OUT!

Anyway, we had a birthday party for Kaia last night. The LaCaze's, the Baldwins, and Tricia Green came. I had the cutest princess cake that I was going to make for her, and then she INSISTED on a "Dora" Cake. That took all of my motivation away, so I made the stupidest little Plain Jane Dora cake and she totally loved it. She came in and said "Oh Thank You MOM! For making such a BEAUTIFUL Dora cake for me!"

Her favorite present of the night was the purse that Tricia gave her. It came complete with FAKE make-up (which I love), Car keys, Credit Cards, and Cell Phone. They have been playing with/ Fighting over it since last night.

Kaia woke up this morning and said "Mom, I'm THREE. I'm a big girl now!"

In other news, I'm sure you are all aware of the fact that I cannot get my daughter Sienna to keep her clothes on. So i decided to buy a little potty to see if she would use it. I opened it and sat it on the floor. A minute later she came in and got me. She had already peed in the potty. Unfortunatly she didn't know to take her panties off first. So she peed straight through her panties and into the potty. But Hey, that's a start right.I put Kaia's panties on her and I had to take a picture. Kaia is the one on the right (if you couldn't tell). They are the same size and they hang on Kaia, but fit very SNUG on Sienna. Cute little bums!

We made cookies the other day because we were bored and I had to keep reminding myself that this was a project for the girls. I didn't take many pictures but it took me FOREVER to clean up. They had flour EVERYWHERE. Caked to their legs, their face, the table, all of the chairs, and all over the floor. They had fun though.

Utah Trip

We spent a few days in Utah. It wasn't a planned trip, but I'm so glad we ended up going. The weather was PERFECT. Kaia and Sienna had so much fun playing with their cousins. They were outside the entire time. They were so excited to see Grandma and Grandpa Goulding. It's been a while since we saw them.

I ate lots of good food, saw Sara & Olivia and Kristi and her boys, had a girls day with Sally and the sisters (we had pedicures, went to dinner and went shopping) and relaxed a lot. It was so fun.

My family had a birthday party for Kaia at Tricia's house. Kaia loved it. We were getting ready to leave and Kaia said "Mom, I have to go to my birthday party and see my friends."

She talked like a little teenager the whole time. She kept telling me that she had to go play with her friends. Sally told her to tell Grandpa was she saw on her walk and she said "I'm just too busy -k-"

OUR LONDON TRIP.....

We left for London last friday. It was the longest day of my life. We got buddy passes from Zach and we either had to leave from Alexandria at 7:00am and wait at the airport for 8 hours, or drive to Houston. So we decided to leave at 7. By the time we got to the Houston airport Sienna was NOT feeling good. She had a really bad fever. We were debating whether we should go or not. Our flight was delayed so we ended up staying in the airport for 10 hours. We finally met up with Zach and Tasha and got on our flight to London. Sienna fell asleep the second we took off, and slept the WHOLE flight (almost 9 hours). I was worried the whole time. I thought we shouldn't have come. We were giving Sienna tylenol and motrin and her fever was over 103 the entire time. Even with the medicine. She was totally miserable. I felt so bad. Kaia watched her movies (luckily we all had our own tv and that entertained Kaia). She finally fell asleep and we made a bed for her on the floor. She slept the rest of the flight. They were both awesome. They didn't cry at all. I just felt bad for Senny, I knew she didn't feel good at all. Right before we landed Sienna started sweating like crazy and her fever finally broke. When she woke up, she found Kaia on the floor and I guess she wanted to be close to her because she climbed down on the floor, laid right on top of Kaia (poor Kaia) and fell back asleep. It was the funniest thing. They both slept like that for about a half an hour and then we had to move them. Kaia was soaked from Sienna's snot and drool.We had to give Sienna a little medicine on Saturday, and then she was fine. Her fever never came back. WIERD.
We landed and 8:30 Saturday morning (which was 2:30 our time). We got on the train, went to the hotel and met up with my mom, dad, Naomi, and Tanner. We had showers and went straight to sightseeing.

Our hotel was right next to St. Paul's Church. It was so pretty. I LOVED London. All of the old buildings. It's amazing that they didn't have the resources back then that we do now, and they still built these amazing buildings.

We took a bus tour around the city. It stopped at a whole bunch of places and you could get off and on whenever you wanted. We saw the London Bridge, where the "Great Fire" was started, the Tower and lots of other places. We also took a boat tour through the river.

The girls were AWESOME. Well, Sienna was a little onery the first day (but she didn't feel good so we'll let that slide). They just tagged along and whenever they got tired they would have a nap in their stroller.

This castle was amazing. This is where they hold all of the jewels, crowns, etc of all the England royalty. We saw all of the battle stations, torture chambers, and everything else in this OLD place.

Kaia's favorite part of the entire trip was chasing the birds. She thought it was the funniest thing. She would laugh her head off. And she LOVED going "underground" (The train)

Feeling better. She is starting to do the cheesiest smiles. Especially when she is doing something she knows she shouldn't.

We left Tuesday morning. We got up at 5:00am (11:00pm our time), went to the airport and got on our 10 hour flight home. The girls were CHAMPIONS. Neither of them cried AT ALL the whole flight. They watched movies, colored, ate snacks and slept. Kaia kept telling me "I don't want to go home, I want to go out to London and see Grandma again"

It was soooo much fun. Thanks family, for a great time like always!

We got home and I went straight to my doctors appointment. Little baby sister is doing just fine.

Tid Bits...

Grandma came down last weekend and the girls had a blast. They both sat on the floor and sobbed when she left to go home. It was the saddest thing I've ever seen.

Sienna is continuing to say more and more. YIPPIE! But unfortunatly her favorite word right now is "NO! No! NO!"

I made the girls Halloween costumes. They are little fairy princesses and they looks soooo cute. Kaia wants to wear her wings all day long.
I can't get Kaia to stay in her bed. I know this has always been a battle with her, but when will it end? It's driving me crazy. I put her in bed for a nap, and went to do my work on the computer, I came out an hour later and I found her on the floor in between the window and the couch. She still runs into our room every single night. If I wake up, I take her back to her own bed (which only lasts for an hour or so, then she's back again-and this process goes on and on) But now she knows to get up on Dusky's side because he won't wake up. She climbs in bed with us and we wake up in the morning and there she is. Sleeping nice and cozy, cuddled up to her dad. Any suggestions?

We are going to London tomorrow. I can't wait. I'm so excited!

And the verdict is........

Well, we have officially broken the Goulding Curse and gone for a big 3 IN A ROW!!!! We are the champions. That's right, everyone get ready for Goulding GIRL #3 because she is on her way. The lady doing the ultrasound said "Do you have any kids already?" and I told her that we had two girls. So she said "Okay good, so you know what a girl looks like" and I looked at the screen and said "Yep, just like that!-That is going to save us ALOT of money" haha

We are totally excited. I keep teasing Dusky that he doesn't know how to make boys. But he really just loves his girls so much that he wants more. He's totally outnumbered 4 to 1 now. I can't wait to meet this little girl. I wonder if she will be like Kaia or Sienna or if she will be a mold of her own.
