These are a few of our favorite things...

This is what we do for entertainment in the Goulding house....

The only problem is...when there's no pillows Eja still dives off the top.
That's hard on the face.

That little Eja of mine is a funny girl.  Here are a few of her stories...

Dusky was in the bathroom showering and he locked the door.  She was in my room pounding on the door for a good 5 minutes, bawling her eyes out.  Finally she came outside to find me and when I saw her bawling I asked what was wrong and she said "Daddy's a COO COO HEAD!"

She tells me that everything is "Buggin"

We were leaving church and as soon as we got out the doors she yelled "IT'S FWEAKIN' HOT!"

She wants to be a puppy.  Everytime I ask her to do something she says "I'm a puppy!"  So I have to say "Come here little puppy, let me change your diaper"  "Come here little puppy, it's time to eat", etc

She wants a band aid for EVERYTHING.

She insists that she's "Just Eja"  she's not "baby eja" or anything else, "Just Eja"
I keep saying "Eja n Kaia, come here"  and she yells at me "I'm NOT Asian!"

Her new thing is "or no?"
She says that after EVERYTHING.
The other day I said "Eja, go get in the car"
and she said "Am I going to soccer, or no?"
Me: "No, you don't play soccer"
Eja: "Am I going to Grandma's, or no?"
Me: "Yes"
Eja: "Are we leaving the boy, or no?"
The other day she said to Naomi "Can I have a band aid?  or no?  Cuz I'm not bleeding"

Eja takes a poo everytime we go swimming.  Finally after like the 5th time i said "What is wrong with you?  Why do you keep pooing in your swimming suit?"  and she started crying and said "I miss uncle Tanner!"
I guess she's been hearing that excuse everytime she sees someone cry these days.

Sienna has turned in to quite the little swimmer this summer.  One day she decided to take of her floaties and that was that.  She started swimming from one side to the other.  She jumps off the highest part of the jacuzzi.  And she's really fast.  I think she's going to be a swimmer like her mama.

The girls went through a little period this summer where they didn't want to go to bed at night.  They would lay in their room and talk and play.  So I started putting them in time out.  It was usually Sienna who would be up running around.  Everytime I would put her in time out, she would immediately fall asleep.  So I would leave her there until the other girls fell asleep and then carry her back to her room.

Kaia is turning in to such a big girl.  She keeps reminding me that she is going to be 6 in a few months and she's so excited to go to Kindergarten.  6 is the GOLDEN bday for her.  Everything is happening when she turns 6.  She will be old enough to do chores.
When she was 4 she was trying to talk my mom in to buying her a movie.  My mom told her that maybe she should do some chores and earn some money for the movie and Kaia told her that she wasn't old enough.  She said "Why don't you buy the movie for me now, and when I'm 6 I'll do the chores!"
So I'm excited that she will officially be old enough to do chores.
We also are moving to Utah when she's 6, according to her.

Lake Powell-June 2012

Lake Powell was a hard one this year, but we went anyway.  We needed to get out of the house and we needed to do something fun with the kids.  All the kids had a BLAST!
They loved the beach and the water.

Kaia spent the whole time looking for seashells, rocks, weeds, etc.

Riding around in Tanners new boat made me cry everytime.
We really missed him this trip and I'm sure we will for every trip from here on out.

Zach broke his eardrum doing a back flip.  SUPRISE, SUPRISE
It wouldn't be a lake powell trip if Zach didn't break his eardrum

The girls LOVED driving the boat

Kaia and Sienna climbed the sand hill like Champions.  They were the first ones up there.  Sienna climbed it THREE times.  She's a crazy lady.  I couldn't even get my big fat pregnant butt up it once.

Dusky did backflips all the way down.

 Sienna preferred to roll
Even though it was hard, I'm glad we went.  The kids had fun.
