Sienna's 6th Birthday

How is it possible that this sweet little girl is 6?

I always say that everyone needs a Sienna.  I love her so much.  She is the most helpful little mini mother out there.  She is always taking care of everyone around her.  She is Tanner's 2nd mom.
She carries him around.  When he cries in the morning she is in his room getting him out of his crib before I can even get to the living room.  She dresses him, gets him milk, puts his shoes on, and just about everything else that a mother would do.

She's really into "Frozen" this year.  She wanted a "Frozen" birthday party.  We decided to have a little party and then watch the movie on the backyard big screen after it got dark.  It was super fun.  She loved it.

March 2014

The weather has been so nice.  I love that my kids can play outside all day long.

Mom and Dad have started getting their pool ready.  Easter is early this year and the pool has to be ready for our annual Easter swim party.  Sienna loves being Grandpa's helper.

Little Tan Man is getting too big.  He's so fun.  He loves being silly and making us laugh.

We are FINALLY seeing progress on the house.  They have started clearing out the lot and the driveway.  It's fun to see.  We had them push the driveway back quite a ways so we are off the road and I think we are going to LOVE it.

Dusky had to be in Orlando for the week doing recruiting.  He threw his back out.  He's been having back issues, but this was a ROUGH trip for him.  He couldn't hardly move.
On Thursday the kids and I loaded up the car and drove down for a little vacay.  They did so good on the drive.  Even Tanner

We love the timeshare in Orlando.  They have the best pools and waterpark.

All boy!

Steph and the kids came down friday night because Karl was down there with Dusky doing interview.

On Saturday we went to Lego Land.  The kids had fun, but we decided that the kids have just as much fun swimming at the resort.  Plus, it's free and we don't have to wait in lines.

On our way home we stopped by Downtown Disney and went to the T-REX restaurant.  The kids were amazed.  It was really fun.  Tanner LOVED the fish.

Eja's 4th Birthday

Little Miss crazy, spunky, fun, loving Eja turned 4 this year.  She had a couple different parties.  They gave her a little party at school.  She got to wear the birthday crown and I took in cookies for everyone to decorate.

We ate at the mexican restaurant and she got to wear the sombrero while everyone sang to her.

Then she wanted her real birthday party at Monkey Joe's this year.  They had a BLAST!  They Ran like crazy for 2 hours straight.  She loved the attention from the "Girl Monkey Joe"  She got a shirt and a crown to wear on her head, pizza, drinks, and cupcakes.  What more could you ask for?

FEBRUARY 2014

Kaia keeps losing teeth like crazy.  She's putting the tooth fairy out of business!

Justin Jarred had some training in Georgia so he came up for a weekend to hang out.  Him and Dusky did movies, blew stuff up in our backyard and went and hiked Amacalola Falls.

Baby #5
Almost 4 months

And we are soooo excited that it's a boy.  Tanner desperately needs a brother.  This is what happens when you grow up in a house filled with girls...

I have been CRAVING jerky this pregnancy so for Valentines Day my wonderful husband got me a new gun and a bouquet of jerky.  Hahahaha.  He was in heaven!

We went to Sienna's Valentines Day party at school and had a blast.  Eja and Tanner think they are big kids when we go into that classroom.  Tanner sat up at the table with the kids and ate snack and Eja sat at the craft table and colored her little heart out.  I LOVE Mrs. Walker and Mrs. Gabriel.  I don't know what I'm going to do when I don't have a kid in their class anymore.

The saddest day EVER
The kids were outside playing on the trampoline.  Kaia got the leaf blower to get all of the leaves off.  Then she decided to jump on the trampoline while using it.  Her hair got caught and it ripped it out until the blower got clogged up and stopped.  Sienna came running in to get us and Kaia was out laying on the trampoline bawling.  It was soooo sad.  It took forever to get her untangled.  Dusky and Jesse had to use tools and take the leaf blower apart.  There was so much hair in there it made me sick to my stomach.  It literally took a HUGE section of hair and ripped it out of her head.  Then the leaf blower came back and hit her in the face.

She has the biggest bawled spot.

and goose egg

We chopped her hair a little bit to make it even

She was really self conscious about it.  I dropped her off at school the next day and I almost started bawling as i drove off.  She got out of the car and the first thing she did was pull her hair down over her bawled spot so no one could see it.

By the time I picked her up from school that day, she had a black eye.  It was pretty sad looking

We are sure glad that Uncle Jesse was there to help Dusky.
I love having family close by.

The kids have been having a lot of picnics lately.  It's their favorite thing to do

This girl lights up our life.  She loves going to school and she LOVES her accessories.

Tanner's not so bad either :)
