A few weeks ago we went to Wyoming with Trevor and Selena. Dusky went out a day early because his truck was in Utah and he wanted to drive up so we would have a car, so it was my first time flying with the girls by myself (besides short little Alexandria to Atlanta flights)
They did AWESOME!!! We had to take 3 different flights and they were angels on all of them. They made friends with everyone around us and Kaia sang ABC's the whole time.
We flew into Jackson Hole and met Dusky, Trevor, Selena, Jaxon and Ryan.
It's so beautiful there. It was really cold. We left Louisiana and we were sweating like crazy and we got to Wyoming and we were freezing.
We spent the first day hanging out in Jackson Hole. We went shopping, went to Ripley's Believe it or not Museum, and went sightseeing. We saw tons of animals. It was really cool.

The next day we went to the Grand Tetons. We went hiking up to the waterfall and Inspiration Point. Kaia hiked almost the whole time by herself. She did awesome. She was totally exhausted by the time we were done. The last half a mile I put her on my back and she was out cold. When we got back to the parking lot she layed down on the ground. She loved every second of it though.
The next day we went to Yellowstone National Park. We saw Old Faithful (it was really cool) along with the rest of the geysers, went to the visitors center, and saw the waterfalls. It's really beautiful there.
The next day we drove down to Utah. We stopped at Bear Lake Pizza for old times sake.
Then we stopped in Salt Lake. We went to the temple with the girls, then we went to Stacie's house. We had a BBQ. Andrea and Lana came up. It was so fun to see my friends.
Then we went down to St. George. Dusky worked on the house a lot because our renters moved out. The girls played outside the whole time. They loved the swing out back. We celebrated Dusky's Birthday (he's an old man-27), got to see Sara Holt come home from her mission, I got to go to Sara Poole's baby shower and the family reunion. We also went to the Manti Pageant. Well, we actually stayed at the pageant for about 5 seconds because the girls were so loud that nobody around us could hear what was going on. But it was the first time taking the girls camping. It was so much fun. I haven't slept in a tent forever. The girls loved it too. They got to see all their cousins and it's always fun hanging out at the campground. Thanks Austad's!
