Happy Pumpkin Carving

Kaia had a cough that I didn't want her to spread, so we kept her home from school and stayed in our pajamas all day long. We jumped on the trampoline, played outside, made cookies and carved pumpkins like crazy. It was awesome.

And now for the BIG BOY!!!!

The fruits of our labors...

UPDATES ON OUR GIRLS

KAIA
Little Miss Kaia. She's just so grown up these days. She is such a big helper with Eja. She is kind of over the nap thing. I send her to her bed and I go look in her room 40 minutes later and she's still laying there, kicking her feet up in air, looking at a book. So I usually just let her come out and help me tend Eja while I get stuff done.
She LOVES preschool. She has lots of friends. Most of them boys, and her dad doesn't think that is very cool. Everytime she sees an "A" She says "Ashton starts with A. He's sooo nice to me!" Dusky's like "I don't like that!" haha. It's pretty funny. I've noticed that she doesn't like to be in the spotlight AT ALL, unless its in front of someone she knows VERY well. She absolutely will not get up and sing with the primary in sacrament. Her school had an "Umberella Parade" a few weeks ago. She was so excited. She talked about it for two days, but when it came time to march with her umberella she was not a fan. All of the kids were marching around the parking lot and Kaia was standing in the back not moving with her head down. Her teacher tried to get her to go, and then finally told her she could come get me. She ran up to me, buried her head in my leg, and started BAWLING! It was sad. She was really upset.
She's pretty much the boss of the house.
She LOVES disgusting animals. (Lizards, spiders, bugs of all sorts, frogs, and everything else that I don't like to touch)
We love our little Kaia. She'll always be a daddy's girl!

SIENNA

Senny DaCole Goding (thats what she calls herself)

Sienna is awesome. She is growing up so fast. She weighs 33 pounds and is BEAUTIFUL! She has her fathers skin. She is so tan. and her blonde hair is finally growing back from the chop job her sister gave her. She marches to the beat of her own drum. She is singing 24/7. Most of it we can't understand, but it's fun to listen to anyways. She makes up her own songs and when she can't think of anymore words she just sings jibberish. The girls can't eat without getting it EVERYWHERE! Since she turned two she has a little bit of an attitude. She puts her hands on her hips and shakes her head back and forth when she talks to you.

Yesterday she came into me and said "mom, will you get me some milk?" and when I didn't jump up and start running to the kitchen she said "ONE...TWO..." I'm not sure what she was going to do when she got to "THREE" but I didn't want to find out. She's strong enough that she could probably take me down! haha
She still follows directions from Kaia pretty well, but she is starting to get an opinion of her own on somethings and things can get ugly real fast. She's a stubborn little girl. I think it is what we call "Silently Stubborn"
She's such a sweetheart though. And so fun right now.

EJA

Da Baby Eja. What a little sweatheart... She is almost 8 months old and getting big so fast. Its sad, but fun! She will be crawling in no time. I thought she would by now because she is over the rolling thing and has been doing the army crawl for quite a while, but we have been traveling for the last week and a half and she hasn't been able to improve on her skills.

She laughs at EVERYTHING. She thinks her sisters are hilarious! She has started shaking her head "NO" at everything. It's really funny. I took her for her check up and the doctor told me she had to get a few shots in both legs and then she asked me if I wanted the optional flu shot as well. Eja started shaking her head "no" very intensly. it was perfect timing.

No matter where she is in the house, she can get to a computer, monitor, or cell phone cord and wrap herself up in it. It's kind of scary. I put them all away and she finds them and drags them into the living room with her.

We love this little girl.

LAST FIVE STANDING CONCERT

We went to the Avenues in Peachtree City for a concert in the park. Oh how I wish my picture of the band would have turned out. They were the funniest group of people I had ever seen. I'm still wondering how in the world they found one another. It was awesome! We ate at Atlanta Bread Co, then got Ice Cream at Marble Stone Creamery (Yummy) and watched the concert for a while. It was really fun. Sienna is hilarious to watch...she can't listen to music without dancing. She clapped after every song. The girls had a blast running around on the grass and playing with their bubbles.
And this is what Eja did the whole time...

CIRCUS

It's been a while since I posted so I am trying to play catch up. At the first of October my mom and dad took us to the circus. The girls LOVED it. Sienna wanted to ride every animal in there. So of course, when Grandpa's around Sienna gets what she wants. He spent a long time taking her around to all the animals. She rode the pony twice and the camel once. The camel was hilarious. It made me kind of nervous. It was HUGE and she rode it by herself. As soon as the tigers came out Sienna said "I want to ride it!" That's where I drew the line. haha

We tried to get Kaia to ride and she wanted NOTHING to do with it.

The girls Loved the clowns. They laughed sooo hard. Kaia was doing the fist pounding thing on the chair because she was laughing so hard.

Besides the fact that it was hotter than hot we all had a blast. The girls talked about it for weeks.

It's HOCTOBER...

Wow, it's been a while since i updated ya'll on our lovely lives. It's already HOCTOBER-as Kaia says. Everyday I am amazed at how big my kids are getting. Eja is 7 months old now. She weighs 21 pounds. She's gone from the 99th percentile to the 96th. She's been working out! She gets wherever she wants to go these days. She does the whole army crawl thing. It's so cute. She laughs at her sisters all day long.
We planted some trees the other day. It has been so nice outside. We've spent a lot of time in our backyard lately.

My mom and dad took us to the circus a few weeks ago. The girls had soooo much fun. Sienna wanted to ride every single animal there, so of course...what sienna wants, grandpa gets for her. She rode the ponies like 3 times. She rode the camel twice.

Kaia had NO interest in riding any animals. But Dusky did get pictures of "mullet boy" Poor kid had the worst mullet I have ever seen.
The girls loved the clown acts. Kaia was laughing so hard. It was the cutest thing I've ever seen. In fact, she was laughing so hard that she did the fist pounding thing a few times.
Kaia is still LOVING school. She talks like a 16 year old most of the time. She's pretty funny. She likes to tell on Sienna alot. It drives me crazy. We were driving down the road the other day and when I told Kaia not to stick her tongue out at Sienna she said "you were supposed to close your eyes so you didn't see me stick my tongue out!"
We woke up the other morning and I had to turn the heater on it was so cold. So we dressed the girls all warm and I had to take a picture.

The girls rode their bikes a mile and a half tonight. They just wanted to keep going and going and going. I finally had to drag them home because it was too cold outside for Eja.
Dusky passed his COMMERCIAL check ride today. YIPPIE!!!! He is officially a commercial pilot. He's been working hard lately and we are so proud of him.
