February Haps

A little update on our lives...
I came home from work the other day and this is what I found. Kaia had given Eja a red vines licorice and Dusky said she really enjoyed it. Can you tell?

The girls love taking baths together. When I put the two older ones in and not eja, she stands at the tub crying and trying to get in. She usually ends up soaked anyways (by her sisters of course) so I might as well just let her get in and play!
February 7th was the big 7 for us. 7 wonderful years of marriage to my wonderful husband. I love him! He's the best husband and dad in the world.
We hung out at the house for most of the morning. After the girls nap we went over to the soccer fields and played soccer for a while. Then we took the girls to my mom and dad's and Dusky and I went to dinner and a movie.
We ate at O'Charleys. It was really good. Then we went and saw "True Grit" It was pretty good. Then we picked up the girls and went home. I had made a fort for the girls while I was cleaning the kitchen floors earlier that day so when we got home Dusky and Sienna decided it would be a good idea to go camping in our fort. I wasn't sold at first. I knew that I had a comfortable bed that was about 10 feet away. But Dusky and Sienna were so excited. They gathered every pillow and blanket in the house and actually made a really comfortable bed. Then they turned the fire on so it felt like we had a campfire. We all slept there all night long. It was really fun. I'm so glad I married a man that is creative and goes out of his way to have fun with his kids. They ADORE their dad!

Dusky, my dad, Zach, and Tanner went hunting in Texas a few weeks ago. Tanner and Dusky picked up the 172 in St. George a few days before and flew it out to Texas. While they were there they started using the new airport. This plane was President Uchtdorf coming in to give a speech and dedicate the new airport.
The first plane that landed at the new airport
I'm pretty sad that the airport moved. I had a lot of good memories at this old airport. We used to ride our biked down to the airport when the Skywest offices were here and visit my dad at work. This is where I learned to fly, got my solo and my private pilots license.
AAHHHH, The memories!
Anyhoo...Here is the results of one of our lovely Georgian Ice Storms.
Little Miss KaiaKaia LOVES school. She is so smart. She's turning into such a big girl. It makes me sad, although it is fun at the same time. It still amazes me that we can have conversations like adults. I did Naomi's hair yesterday and as Naomi walked out of the bathroom she said "Oh Naomi, Your hair is sooooooo cute. It is sooooo cute!" She had the whole valley girl thing going on. It was really funny. She takes such good care of her little sisters. She LOVES dancing. She would dance for us all day long if we would let her. She does ballet and hip hop.. I really need to get her in a dance class. Her hip hop dancing is hilarious. We turn on the fast music and she bounces all around and then randomely does her version of the splits.
Senny Penny
I love this sweet girl. She is the toughest (physically) and softest (emotionally) EVER! She wants to do everything her big sister does. Every day she asks me if she gets to go to school today like Kaia. Although she's not interested in the learning part. I was practicing ABC's with her the other day. I help up the paper and said "What is this?" and she said "I can't tell you right now, I'm just to busy for that!"
Kaia came in the other day crying and told me that her shoe was really hurting her and sienna said "well...take it off you big BABY!"
The Baby Ej
She is so dang cute! She has had a rough time since she went to the hospital. She went to the doctor a week after her last check up and we found out she had another ear infection. She went on antibiotics again (by the way, she already had yeast from the antibiotics before) and it has been a few days since she got done with that round. She woke up the other night screaming. She seriously cried for most of the night. I was holding her, rocking her, laying by her and she would not stop crying. I think that is the first time in her life she has ever acted like that. So I took her to the doctor the next morning. She still has an ear infection. The last antibiotics didn't work, so they gave us a prescription for a new kind. Poor girl.
In happier news, she is getting pretty good at her balance. She still doesn't walk more than a few steps at a time, but she's ALMOST there.
She loves eating real food and drinking from a sippy cup. She sings and dances. She waves. and, she's cute!
