Day 3
We got up and headed out to the Palace of Versailles. It was about a 40 metro ride but we had to stop right by Notre Dame. It was HUGE! Dusky went over and took a lot of pictures while I shopped through some of the little souvenir shops.
The bedrooms in this palace were amazing. I love the big huge beds

The Balcony (One of them)
Quite the Foyer
The Organ
Ceiling Paintings

Grande Fire Place
They had a few halls of chandeliers

The back yard was amazing. There were acres upon acres of land and walkways and hedges and ponds
The Kinds Bedroom. It was lined with chairs where his servants would sit all night just in case he needed something

View from the Back
Just a little slice of the backyard

There were many rows of bushes just like this one with hidden cafes inside them

Kaia found her beloved LARGE leaf. She didn't put it down for the rest of the day.

That night Rob and Sally watched the girls and Dusky and I went and walked around Paris. We went and got Crepes and dinner to bring home. It was really fun!
The next morning we got up at 6am (which was 10pm Utah time). We went and rode the metro to the airport and caught a flight to Salt Lake. Instead of our nice little 8 hour flight from Atlanta, we had to do 11 hours to Salt Lake. Luckily for Rob and Sally they got Business Class again. But those of us with small children had to take our seat in the back.
The girls were seriously sooooo good. None of them cried once on the whole 11 hour flight. Sienna started to get a tiny bit fussy one time so Dusky stood up with her and walked to the back where she fell asleep on him in a jiffy. What troopers they are.
When we got to Salt Lake we were standing in the customs line and a lady asked sienna what her name was. Kaia said "Senny Penny" in the most southern accent I have ever heard. It was so funny. What a little southerner she is. I've never heard her call Sienna that before.
Anyway, we could not get on any of the flights to St. George or Cedar that day. They were all overbooked. That's the joy of flying standby. and we really wanted to get home so we just rented a car and drove down to Hurricane. When we got to Rob and sally's their mission call was awaiting them. So we waited for Joe and Robbie to get there and they opened it.
YEEHAW!!!
They are going to Western Samoa. They leave on December 27th. We are so excited for them, and more excited to visit them.
We did not make it to bed until 10pm that night. So we had been traveling/awake for 24 hours straight. The girls slept really well that night.
